Calef Brown poster illustration for 2013 Santa Monica-Venice Christmas Run

Calef Brown was asked to illustrate the poster for the 36th Annual Santa Monica-Venice Christmas Run.  In addition to posters, Calef's image will be used on t-shirts and other graphics related to the event.  Looks like a fun run!

Christophe Lopez-Huici's music posters

Christophe Lopez-Huici works with a lot of bands to design and illustrate their CD covers, as well as their posters for performances.  While a lot of people are familiar with Christophe's illustration and claymation, we thought we would share some of his music poster work for a change.  Christophe's groovy style makes for some super cool posters, and he does all of the hand lettering as well:

Lucie Rice poster illustration for Southern Festival of Books

Lucie Rice designed and illustrated this poster for the recent Southern Festival of Books.  This was 24th annual festival, which is held in Nashville on the second full weekend of October every year.  Nice work, Lucie!

Calef Brown speaking at the California College of the Arts

Calef Brown is going to be speaking at the California College of the Arts in San Francisco on Monday, March 26.  Calef's lecture is presented by the CCA Illustration and Writing and Literature Programs, and it's sure to be interesting!  Calef will be showing and discussing his illustration, fine art, children's books, and his inspirations, and he will speak about his processes for both art and writing.  If you happen to be in San Francisco, you should go listen to Calef talk about his work and get a glimpse into his unique world!
