Craig LaRotonda was commissioned by the Riverfront Times to create a series of illustrations for the Best of St. Louis 2013 issue. The concept was "Mind Control", and Craig did a total of 8 pieces.  The illustrations are meant to stand alone and also work as a series, and Craig was inspired in part by vintage movie posters and sic-fi book covers...

Jennifer Vaughn Artist Agency group show in Dallas

We're coming back to Dallas, and this time it's for a gallery show featuring the work of 12 of our artists at TractorBeam Gallery from October 11 until November 9th, 2012.

Craig LaRotonda illustrates for BCBusiness Magazine

Craig LaRotonda was commissioned by Canada Wide Media to create this illustration for BCBusiness Magazine.  The article is about mining rare earth metals, which are used in making things like iPads, phones, batteries, magnets, and nuclear reactors, among other things.  Check it out:

Craig LaRotonda for The Sutras

Craig LaRotonda recently worked on the package design and illustrations for a new CD by The Sutras, titled Call Out We'll Find You.  This is the second studio release for the band, and they contacted Craig after seeing his painting, "I Become the Tool".  The painting is based on St. John the Baptist waiting for Christ.  The band asked if they could use the piece on their CD cover, and not only did Craig say yes, but he ended up designing the entire package.  Very cool!

Craig LaRotonda's CSR for the New York Times

Craig LaRotonda completed the below illustration for a piece called "First, Make Money. Also, Do Good." which was featured in the business section of last Sunday's NY Times. The article is about corporate social responsibility and the concept of "shared value" within today's corporate world.
Craig's style made for a great visual to accompany the piece!

The story, written by Shanna Hogan, is called "Elephants in the Living Room: Exotic pets may be man's new best friend..." Once again, Craig's unique style is well adapted to conveying this concept. On a side note, we love the retro wall pattern!
