Dave Stevenson illustrates book cover for Allman Brothers bio

Dave Stevenson was commissioned by St. Martin's Press to do the hand lettered typography and illustration for the Allman Brothers Band biography, titled One Way Out.  Dave's work is foil stamped on the cover, and the art director Rob Grom sent us a photo of the actual book to show the effects.  We think it turned out great!

Livia Cives - Taking the Reins

Here is a new illustration that Livia Cives just finished up for Deloitte University Press.  The title of the piece is Taking the Reins as a CIO, and Livia did a great job of illustrating the potential challenges and pitfalls that new CIO's often face.  Love the minimal color palette!

Craig LaRotonda's Mind Control

Craig LaRotonda was commissioned by the Riverfront Times to create a series of illustrations for the Best of St. Louis 2013 issue. The concept was "Mind Control", and Craig did a total of 8 pieces.  The illustrations are meant to stand alone and also work as a series, and Craig was inspired in part by vintage movie posters and sic-fi book covers...

Martha Rich for the Natural History Museum of LA County

Martha Rich was commissioned to create these two "memory maps" for part of a major rebrand of the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County.  Martha worked with Kim Baer Design  on the project, and Martha's art is part of a permanent exhibit in the museum.  I can't wait to go check it out the next time I'm in LA!
