Robin Moline illustrates the University of Maine

Robin Moline recently created this illustration for the University of Maine's publication, UMaine Today.  The art is for an article titled, "Blue is Green", which is about the University's leadership in sustainability initiatives.  Robin was asked to do an illustration looking out across the campus to highlight the many diverse pieces of the sustainability picture at UMaine, from the energy efficiency of their steam plant on one edge of campus, to the greenhouses on the other, all surrounded by farms and the university's forest:

Dave Stevenson was commissioned by Robb Report magazine to do some hand lettering for their annual Best of the Best issue.  Dave's pen and ink technique gives such a nice organic look to the opener of each section of the issue - a few of which are below.

Santiago Uceda illustrates and animates for Troy-Bilt

Santiago Uceda recently worked on this fun project for Troy-Bilt lawn equipment called "Think Spring - Tell Us How It's Done".

Santiago created all of the illustrations and animation for this interactive campaign which allows people to share stories of their own backyard projects.  Users upload personal photos and describe the projects in their own words, and it's all set against the animated backgrounds that Santiago created.

It's fun to see his work in motion, and you can go to the Troy-Bilt video gallery, and click  on any of the stories to check it out for yourself.

Here are some screenshots:
