Dave Stevenson created the cover illustration for the upcoming book titled, "The Little Book of Light", by Mikaela Jones.  The book is being published by Red Wheel/Weiser, and it's scheduled to be released this September.

We just received an advance copy from the publisher, and Dave's artwork looks great!  Dave illustrated the image of the sun as well as the border treatment - here's a sneak peek:

Dave Stevenson illustrates for Wines of Clarksburg

Dave Stevenson created this poster illustration for the Wines of Clarksburg, an annual event that benefits the Clarksburg Library. This is the third time that Dave has contributed his artwork for this benefit, and he also did the hand lettering of the main titles on the poster. Terri Fry Kasuba illustrates Lonesome George

Here is a new piece by Terri Fry Kasuba that she created for the Natural Selection show that opened at Part Time Studios in Philadelphia last Friday.  This painting is titled "Lonesome George Lives On", and it's based on the recent death of the last Galapagos turtle of its kind  :-(

It's amazing how Terry can take the saddest of topics and still manage to create something cute!

Kim Rosen illustrates for the Wall Street Journal

Kim Rosen recently illustrated this wonderful piece for an article on how a woman tries to get her kids to do their chores, without a fight...

From the original Wall Street Journal article:
"I fired my children. It was a cold Saturday in December, when I told them they no longer had jobs and should leave the house. I didn't care where they went, as long as they got out of my hair for three hours so I could do their chores without bitterness."  continue reading...

Calef Brown illustrates Samurai Jack

Calef Brown created this illustration of his interpretation of Samurai Jack for the Cartoon Network 20th Anniversary Book and Exhibition taking place during Comic-Con this week.  The exhibit, curated by Mark Murphy, features an incredible line-up of artists (including our own Joel Nakamura, as well!) each of whom was asked to illustrate their interpretation of a Cartoon Network show.  Such a great concept!  Here is Calef's take on Samurai Jack and Aku:
