Simeon Elson was commissioned to do this illustration of Mark Carney, the Governor of the Bank of England, for the cover of Fund Strategy magazine.  Simeon was asked to illustrate in a Russian revolution propaganda poster style, and the "2%" written on the piece of paper is in reference to the proposal of interest rates being raised.  Nice work, Sim!

Rossini illustration by Livia Cives

Here is a new piece by Italian artist, Livia Cives, that she recently created for our illustrated cocktail recipe blog.  This interpretation of a Rossini is the second illustration in a series based on classic Italian cocktails that Livia has been working on.  Livia was specifically inspired by the group of cocktails made with Prosecco, and the piece she created previous to the Rossini was the Bellini.  We can't wait to see which one she illustrates next!

Bob Dob illustrations for Hispanics Against Drunk Driving

Bob Dob recently illustrated a series of 3 PSA's for the non-profit organization Hispanics Against Drunk Driving (H.A.D.D.).  Bob had the pleasure of working with Concept Café Advertising , and the concept of the campaign was, "Monsters Do Exist".  Bob's illustration style worked beautifully in translating these dark fairy tales into a serious message...as you can see:
