Kim Rosen's illustration of Boomerang Kids

Kim Rosen illustrated this piece for a story highlighting that many "Millennials" are moving back in with their parents after college graduation. What was once pretty unthinkable, moving back with ma and pa, is now considered a smart career move in this tough job market for these 20-somethings. This illustration appeared in the Washington Post.

Lucie Rice illustrates on guitars!

Lucie Rice recently had the opportunity to illustrate on actual guitars for the Grand Ole Opry, as part of The Fourth Annual Guitars of the Stars Benefit Auction.  The event gave "country fans the opportunity to purchase one-of-a-kind guitars inspired and autographed by everyone from the Opry’s newest member to the Coal Miner’s Daughter".

The auction benefitted the Grand Ole Opry Trust Fund, and more than $19,950 was raised!

Lucie was proud to be asked to contribute to such a wonderful and creative event, and you can see more pics of the guitars on the event's Facebook page...

Tom Jester joins Jennifer Vaughn Artist Agency

We are pleased to welcome a new member to our group, Tom Jester

Tom Jester was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa. As a child he was constantly exposed to art and the creative process by his mother who is a painter, ceramicist and printmaker.
After an initial beginning with pastels, he eventually switched to rendering digitally on his Macintosh computer. Working digitally allows for more experimentation and for the artist to change his mind without starting over. Tom has worked for clients such as; Anheuser Busch, Activision, U.S. Army, Applebee’s, Procter & Gamble, Sprint, Longhorn Steakhouse, American Royal and many others.

Tom Jester currently resides in Kansas City, Missouri – the beautiful elements of this part of the country sometimes make appearances in his art.

New fashion illustrations by Mariya Paskovsky

Here are some new illustrations by Mariya Paskovsky.  She is using a much more dramatic color palette than we are used to seeing in her work, and we're loving the bold contrast of the black background and the intense colors. Mariya created this series as a proposal for the graduation fashion show poster of UQAM: École supérieure de mode de Montréal.

The first illustration is simply  an image of a fashionista with a lot of details, fashion
accessories, etc.  The other two images are based on what Mariya considers to be the most significant points in the history of men's and women's fashion.  As Mariya describes them - for women: "the 1920's, when the skirts and hair suddenly became short"... and for men: "the 60's and 70's, when the plain and boring suit was suddenly was transformed to a bright, colorful, creative, and very young look..."

Christophe Lopez-Huici on Claymation

A fantastic documentary on Christophe and his process creating clay animation films. Note this piece is rated R for some of Christophe's language as well as some sparse claymation character nudity.
