Lucie Rice was commissioned by Belmont University to create an illustration for their 2014 admissions materials.  The illustration highlights prominent buildings from around the university campus.  The client liked Lucie's work so much that they asked her to do a winter version of the piece to use on their holiday cards!

Lucie Rice illustrates Nashville neighborhoods

Lucie Rice has been working on a series of posters illustrating the various neighborhoods of Nashville, Tennessee, which also happens to be the city that Lucie calls home.  Each illustration reflects the individuality of that particular neighborhood, and the Nashville Neighborhood series features five of Lucie's favorites:

Lucie Rice poster illustration for Southern Festival of Books

Lucie Rice designed and illustrated this poster for the recent Southern Festival of Books.  This was 24th annual festival, which is held in Nashville on the second full weekend of October every year.  Nice work, Lucie!

Lucie Rice illustrates on guitars!

Lucie Rice recently had the opportunity to illustrate on actual guitars for the Grand Ole Opry, as part of The Fourth Annual Guitars of the Stars Benefit Auction.  The event gave "country fans the opportunity to purchase one-of-a-kind guitars inspired and autographed by everyone from the Opry’s newest member to the Coal Miner’s Daughter".

The auction benefitted the Grand Ole Opry Trust Fund, and more than $19,950 was raised!

Lucie was proud to be asked to contribute to such a wonderful and creative event, and you can see more pics of the guitars on the event's Facebook page...
